Last Monday Rus had the day off, but the kids all still had school. So it was just Rus, Gwen and me. We went to Ikea to get much needed bunk beds for the girls (Laurelin will be 7 in May and is still in a toddler bed). Gwen helped us pick it out, and had a good time being the only shopping helper. Then after lunch we went to the zoo. She got to pick everything we saw and go at her own pace, and we got to enjoy spending some time with just our youngest. Gwen is so special, she always makes us smile, and makes the day brighter. We got this picture of her and Rus near the rhino statue and I think it came out pretty perfect.

So Gwen got to be the "only" child for a day, while Juma is staying with a family where he is the fourth child. The kids have even dubbed him "Juma Beckham Half-McDow."
