Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

Hello All, Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! We haven’t posted in a while, so we will try to make up for it with plenty of pictures. Before we launch into a review of our holidays, however, let me announce that we have Maxed Out Puppetry puppet show tomorrow (Monday Jan 4^th 2010) at the Provo Library, starting at 7 pm. The show should last about a half an hour, so come laugh at our silliness : )

Laurelin’s Christmas ballet recital was the 16^th, we’ve put the video up here for you to see.

Kerry and Mike and Caeden came up to have dinner with us before heading out to Boston to see Mike’s family, and we got some very goofy-funny footage of Mike and Rus playing with the puppets together, maybe we’ll put it up if he’s ok with that….

We went to the Wilson Christmas party on the 20^th, at Grandma and Grandpa’s house, and had a great time seeing everyone. Jody, Kaerlek, Ammon and Snow were even able to come down from Idaho, so it was great to see them again and meet our new niece, she’s a cutie! They were able to stop by our place in Salt Lake on their way back up North, so we had a chance for a more 1-on-1 (or rather family on family, but you know what I mean) visit too.

Christmas Eve Grandma and Grandpa Wilson came up to have dinner with us, and hang out, it’s great when we get to do things like that with them. Christmas day, after doing stockings and presents at home, we went down to G&
G’s house to hang out some more, and eat way too many little smokies sausages. The kids did quite a lot of sledding, some pictures of which we’ll put up.

The week after Christmas we took the kids to see the Frog Princess, courtesy of the movie theater gift card that Grandma and Grandpa Wilson gave us for Christmas. We also just did a lot of hanging out at home and relaxing, Rus even got into doing a puzzle with me (something that’s been hard for him to do in the past due to his colorblindness).

Yesterday we had a brunch at Grandma and Grandpa’s house, which was also great.

All in all it’s been a very restful and relaxing vacation, and in the immortal words of that somewhat ditzy chicken at the end of Chicken Run,

“What a lovely ‘oliday, I shall ‘ate to ‘ave to go back ‘ome…”
